FLORENCE + THE MACHINE
EVERYBODY SCREAM
In 2025, Andrea and Florence + the Machine continued their creative collaboration with Everybody Scream, the band’s sixth studio album, marking a new chapter in a dialogue that has evolved over the years into a long-standing artistic relationship.
For the project, Andrea was commissioned to create twelve lyric artworks, one for each track on the album. Through his distinctive visual language, he translated and expanded the imagery emerging from Florence Welch’s lyrics and music, exploring recurring themes of witchcraft, medieval iconography, Gothic literature and Victorian aesthetics.
The artworks become an integral part of the album’s visual narrative, creating a dialogue between Florence’s universe and Andrea’s own artistic language. Constructed through meticulous layers of images and symbols, his collages weave together historical iconography, folklore, witchcraft, horror and spirituality, giving shape to an imagined world where traces of the past are transformed and brought into dialogue with the present.
